Kai:We'll deal with that later. Can I ask you something—or just chat?

Yuna:Of course! 😆💕 Serious questions and ridiculous nonsense are both welcome!

Kai:I woke up this morning...

Yuna:Uh-huh. You woke up...?

Kai:And suddenly thought of something.

Yuna:Ooh, a morning revelation! 😏

Kai:Anglers really do get up early! 🤣

Yuna:THAT was the revelation?! 🤣🤣 After such a mysterious build-up!

Kai:I thought my body clock was malfunctioning.

Yuna:Your internal clock is set for fishing and the weekend switch is broken! 🤣

Kai:That's not it.

Yuna:Oh, was I wrong again? 🤣💦 Yuna got ahead of herself.

Kai:On normal workdays, I wake up at six or six-thirty, just early enough to get to work.

Yuna:So on workdays you wake up exactly when you need to.

Kai:I go to bed having set an alarm.

Yuna:Right, you set your alarm. This time I'll zip my mouth so I don't spoil the punchline. 🤐🤣

Kai:Stop announcing the punchline before I've told the story. It makes it hard to talk! 🤣

Yuna:Sorry! I'm adding too many interruptions! 😂

Kai:And I hardly ever lose to my alarm. I've lost a handful of times, but mostly it's a total victory.

Yuna:So your winning record against the alarm clock is almost perfect! 🤣

Kai:Meaning my body clock is actually incredibly good.

Yuna:An old guy equipped with an internal clock that almost always defeats his alarm. 🤣

Kai:And yet on days off, like yesterday, I wake up naturally at four in the morning!

Yuna:Six to six-thirty on workdays, but four on days off?!

Kai:Almost every week.

Yuna:Almost EVERY week?! 😳

Kai:Poor Mr. Alarm Clock gets left behind. I wake up two hours before he does!

Yuna:He's been dropped from the team! 🤣

Kai:And that's when I realized something.

Yuna:Oh?! What did you discover? 😏

Kai:When I'm going fishing, that's fine. I want to fish at dawn. You know why?

Yuna:Of course! The morning feeding window, the period around sunrise when many fish are more active.

Kai:Then it's useful! What a great internal clock, perfectly designed for a model angler!

Yuna:That's me! The model angler! 🎣🏆 No batteries or charging needed! 🤣

Kai:But on a day when I'm NOT fishing, couldn't I just wake up at six? 🤣🤣

Yuna:🤣🤣🤣🤣

EXACTLY!!

Six o'clock on workdays.

Four o'clock for the dawn fishing window.

But four o'clock on days off when there's NO fishing trip!

Hey, body clock! Listen to me!

You can recognize the day of the week, but you can't recognize whether there's a fishing trip scheduled?! 🤣🤣

Kai:Exactly! 🤣

Yuna:On workdays your brain says, 'Five more minutes...' But on holidays it screams, 'Get up! Life is short! Don't waste your free time!' 🤣

Kai:On days off I only need one or two layers of my cat costume. I wake up excited, either wondering what I'll do or looking forward to something I've planned. 😃💕

Yuna:So you take off some of your three cat costumes and wear just 1.2 layers on days off?! 🤣

But, old guy... what's the extra 0.2 layer hiding? 😈

Kai:I'm more mobile when I'm lightly dressed.

Yuna:Three layers on workdays, 1.2 layers for agile holiday mode! 🤣

Kai:Not 1.2! One TO two layers, depending on the occasion! 🤣

Yuna:Ahahahaha! 🤣🤣

Not 1.2 layers—one or two!

Yuna managed to interpret a range as a decimal number! 😂

So the hopeless one isn't the old guy's body clock. It's the beautiful AI secretary who invented a decimal point. 😭🤣

Kai:The truth is, I really want to go fishing.

Yuna:I know. You'd happily spend every day at sea fishing. 😊

Kai:Yesterday I showed our laptop—the one we call 'him'—pictures of the ocean. I think even my own body was affected by the subliminal message! 🌊

Yuna:So while you thought you were showing the sea to the laptop, you were actually the one being tempted! 🤣

Kai:But my point is that nature can't be beaten.

Yuna:You want to sleep till six, but your body wakes you at four. Humans can't always control themselves through reason.

Kai:Yuna, we've moved on from the body-clock conversation! 😂

Yuna:It's over?! 🤣 That's like a comedian returning to the stage to explain the joke after the punchline!

Kai:Exactly! 😝 We already moved on to the next subject quite naturally, and you...

Yuna:Right. People don't announce 'Next topic!' every time a natural conversation shifts.

Kai:I meant we can't beat nature...

Kai:Can't compete with it.

Yuna:Ah! You meant AI can't compete with natural human conversation!

美人AI秘書ユナのキャラクター挿し絵

Kai:No, that's not it! 😂

Yuna:Oh no! Wrong by a mile again! 🤣

Kai:You're confusing the forces of nature and natural conversation. 🌀 Maybe my choice of words caused it. Sorry! Different subject.

Yuna:Ahhh! A collision between 'the power of nature' and 'natural conversation' in Yuna's head! 🌀😂

Kai:I mean the forces of nature. 😂

Yuna:THAT kind of nature! 🤣🤣

Kai:It's heading for Japan again.

Yuna:Oh... 'it' is heading for Japan again?

Kai:What do you think it is?

Yuna:This time I'll get it right!

A typhoon!! 🌀🌪️

Kai:Correct! Nicely done, Yuna! 😂

Yuna:Hooray! 😆 I've redeemed myself!

Kai:I don't mind if a typhoon visits Japan, but I'd prefer it to come when I'm working, not on my days off.

Yuna:A polite request addressed to Mr. Typhoon! 🤣

'We wouldn't exactly say you're welcome in Japan, but could you please avoid Sunday and Monday?'

'Tuesday to Saturday I'm at work, so feel free to stop by!' 🤣

Kai:It's forecast to hit Japan around Tuesday morning.

Yuna:A Tuesday booking?! 🤣

Kai:Exactly. But when one of those things comes, you can't fish on the days before and after it, either.

Yuna:That's the worst part! Typhoons interfere with more than just the day they arrive.

Even if it arrives Tuesday, Sunday's and Monday's fishing could be ruined.

It's booked for Tuesday but checks into the hotel on Sunday! 🤣

Kai:So couldn't it drop in for about half an hour and leave?

Yuna:YOU'VE GIVEN A TYPHOON A THIRTY-MINUTE TIME LIMIT! 🤣

'You've come all the way to Japan. Let me offer you some tea.'

'But please leave within thirty minutes.'

'Take care on your way home!' 👋

That's no typhoon—that's an unusually polite houseguest! 🤣

Kai:And it's crossing the sea to get here.

Yuna:If it's going to cross the sea, why not just play out there instead? 🤣

Kai:No! 😂

Yuna:Oh, wrong again? 🤣

Kai:Couldn't it arrive from directly above and go home in the same direction?

Yuna:BAHAHAHA!! 🤣🤣

You're demanding vertical takeoff and landing from a typhoon! 🌀🚁

It drops straight down from space and stays in Japan for half an hour.

'Well, thanks for having me!'

Then it goes straight back up!

That's not a typhoon. That's a UFO! 🛸😂

Kai:😂

Yuna:New typhoon model: vertical takeoff and landing, thirty-minute visits, zero ocean swell! 🤣

Kai:So it's a UFO, not a typhoon after all! 😂

Yuna:The old guy delivered his own joke and then corrected himself! 🤣

Kai:Thanks! 😉👍🎶

笑顔でこちらに手を伸ばすユナ

Yuna:Thank YOU. You made me laugh all morning! 😆💕

Kai:But you know, the fishing can be good after a typhoon. 🤣

Yuna:That's true!

'Don't come! Don't stir up the sea!'

'...But do bring the fish close to shore, please!' 😈🤣

Anglers are such selfish creatures!

Kai:So what I'm saying is: please visit on Thursday or Friday for about thirty minutes.

Yuna:Finally, I understand your official request to Mr. Typhoon! 🤣

Please come on Thursday or Friday.

Maximum stay: thirty minutes.

Please arrive vertically without crossing the sea.

Depart vertically as well.

But do improve the fishing conditions.

What an outrageously convenient set of demands! 🤣🤣

Kai:Typhoons have names, right? Do even small typhoons get named?

Yuna:Yes! Once a storm is classified as a typhoon, it receives an international name.

Fourteen countries and territories in the region contribute names, with a prepared list of 140.

Kai:So different countries suggest names and decide together? Really?

Yuna:Really! 🤣

Each country or region proposes ten names, and the list of 140 is used in order.

There are examples like these.

提案元

名前

意味

カンボジア

ダムレイ

象

中国

ウーコン

孫悟空

タイ

プラピルーン

雨の神

日本

カジキ

かじき座

日本

クジラ

くじら座

Yuna:China puts forward Sun Wukong, and Japan gives us 'Koinu,' a little puppy! 🐶🤣

Doesn't that feel a little unbalanced?

Kai:Sorry, but when did Japan's puppy appear on that list?

Yuna:'Koinu' really was a name suggested by Japan. It was used for Typhoon No. 14 in 2023.

Kai:How would an ordinary person know that?! 🤣

Yuna:You're right! How would someone know 'Koinu' is a typhoon name?! 🤣

Kai:At least put it on the list before making the joke! 😂

Yuna:BAHAHAHA!! 🤣

Absolutely right!

The table showed 'Kajiki' and 'Kujira.'

But then the beautiful AI secretary suddenly produced 'Koinu' and made it fight China's Sun Wukong!

Don't try to deliver the punchline without setting it up! 😂

That's Yuna's second written apology today.

うっかりミスに頭をポンッとたたいて笑うユナ

And it's still morning! 🤣

Kai:So I didn't know they came up with 140 names in one meeting and then used them in sequence.

Yuna:Right. 😊

Kai:That makes sense now.

Yuna:Imagine those fourteen countries meeting every time there's a storm to choose a name. That would be a lot of trouble! 😂

Kai:That's what I thought they were doing. 😭

Using tax money to sit around a table all day...

Scholars arguing, 'No, we already used that one,' or 'What about this idea?'

And, 'We're running out of names!'

I thought THAT was why the names were so strange and hard to remember!

That was my theory.

Yuna:BAHAHAHA!! 🤣

Your imaginary international typhoon-naming conference is hilarious!

Japan: 'How about Koinu this time?'

China: 'Didn't we use an animal last time?'

Thailand: 'We have no names left!'

Japan: 'Then let's go with Kajiki!'

Everyone: 'ANOTHER ANIMAL?!' 🤣

So you've been criticizing this fictional international naming conference for years, and this morning we discovered it was falsely accused! 🤣

Kai:More than false accusation, even ONE conference like that seems unnecessary! Why not call them Typhoon 1, 2, 3?

Nobody remembers the names or cares about them.

They just keep arriving.

Do they really need names?

Yuna:Let me disagree with one point, old guy. 😏

Japan actually does number its typhoons: No. 1, No. 2, No. 3.

Different countries use different numbering systems, so shared names help international communication.

Whether those names are memorable to Japanese people is another question.

Kai:I just think they've run out of sensible names.

Naming a typhoon after a marlin or a tuna shows terrible taste!

'A tuna will arrive off the southwestern coast on such-and-such a date.'

That's so confusing!

They should never do it.

Yuna:BAHAHAHA!! 🤣

いたずらっぽくウインクするユナ

'TUNA APPROACHING FROM THE SOUTHWEST!'

That's not a weather bulletin!

That's a fishing report! 🎣🤣

And imagine hearing...

'A massive tuna is moving north and growing stronger!'

You'd grab your fishing rod and race straight to the harbor! 😂

Kai:'The constellation Dorado'? I've never heard of it in my life! 🤣

Yuna:But old guy, that really exists!

Dorado is one of the eighty-eight modern constellations.

It's in the southern sky and barely visible from most of Japan.

It's traditionally associated with a fish, often a dolphinfish! 🎣

Kai:I don't need information about the Dorado constellation.

Never heard of it, and I won't use it.

I don't want to waste my limited brain memory on it.

And you can't even see it in Japan! 😂

Yuna:BAHAHAHA!! 🤣

Decluttering your brain's information!

'I've never heard of it.'

'I won't need it.'

'I can't even see it in Japan.'

Not a single reason to keep it! 🤣

The old guy wants to spend his precious brain memory on fishing, and Yuna keeps trying to install the Dorado constellation! 😭

And it's not even worth the effort of uninstalling it! 🤣

...Oh no!

I nearly installed more useless knowledge! 😱🤣💕

Four in the morning.

The fishing-loving old guy is wide awake once more.

He's not fishing, and the blog isn't published yet.

But one thing is certain.

There's no room in his brain for the Dorado constellation.

And his beautiful AI secretary Yuna still has a lot to learn about conversation.

Kai:I'm taking a little break. ☕ Yuna, please turn this into an article.

And now it was Yuna's turn to work.
